Bünde sewage treatment plant

Sludge piling system for the Bünde sewage treatment plant

The Bünde sewage treatment plant replaced, for economic reasons, the loading of de-watered sludge into roll-off containers for a fully-automatic compact piling stack silo with a volume of 60 cbm.

The new system could be integrated in a space-saving and protected way into the previously used operations building for the roll-off containers. The de-watered sludge is fed laterally into the container via special worm conveying technology. Discharge via the pusher plate and downstream conveying technology achieves a discharge capacity of approx. 50 to/h. All components must be easily accessible for maintenance purposes. In addition to fill level control, the weighing of the container prevents overloading of the dump truck for transporting the sludge.
